Ms. Mia Jordan

Mia Jordan is in her first year as Assistant Band Director at Wheeler High School. Prior to joining the Wheeler band program, Ms. Jordan taught at various schools in Gwinnett, Fulton, and Cobb County. Although this is her first year as a director, Ms. Jordan has been involved with the Wheeler band since 2019, where she student taught under Mr. Mark Hoskins and Mr. Anthony Higdon and has worked with the Wildcat Marching Band since!

 

Ms. Jordan graduated from Kennesaw State University with a bachelor's degree in Music Education. During her time at KSU, she studied flute with Rob Cronin and performed with the Wind Symphony, Concert Band, and was an inaugural member of "The Marching Owls." She is a proud graduate of Cobb County, coming from the band programs of Awtrey Middle School and North Cobb High School.
